Bonifacio Global City is a financial and residential district in Manila, Philippines. The entire district used to be part of the Philippines Army camp. The district experienced commercial growth after the sale of this military land. In 1995, Bonifacio Land Development Corporation started planning a major urban development. As a result of the project, the current Bonifacio Global City is a rich district with a large number of skyscrapers.

Fort Santiago

Intramuros, a walled city near Manila, is both a residential area and a fortress. Fort Santiago was a military base that defends the North area. The university campus is listed as one of the most viable sites in the Philippines to be included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
