As a result, it can be difficult to see everything at once. Below, we have gathered a few of the most iconic pieces of Californian culture.

해변 &; 서핑 (Beaches &; Surfing)

Next to the Pacific Ocean, California is widely known for its beaches that line its coast. Driving down the Pacific Highway, you come across places like Long Beach, Santa Monica, and Malibu. Because of this abundance of beaches, surfing has become an important part of Californian culture. No matter where you can expect there to be surfers of all ages and skill levels hitting the waves.

Yosemite National Park is an American National Park in Central California. The spectacular mountains, valleys, and waterfalls, which were carved into the rocks by glaciers thousands of years ago, have inspired artists, athletes, and tourists to visit for decades. Some of the most iconic attractions include the Yosemite Falls, Half Dome, and El Capitan. Because of its breathtaking nature, many hikers and rock climbers travel to Yosemite. Most notably, Alex Honnold free soloed El Capitan, using no safety equipment and only his hands and feet.

골든게이트 다리 (Golden Gate Bridge)

The Golden Gate Bridge is located in the Bay Area near San Francisco. Approximately 1 mile long, the bridge was completed in 1937. It is a marvel of engineering, built against strong winds, swirling currents, and 300 meter deep waters. Today, it has become an icon of California and the United States, appearing as a landmark in modern pop culture.

Called the ‘Happiest Place on Earth’, Disneyland is a global sensation. The park features cultural icons spanning a century, including Mickey Mouse, Elsa, Snow White, and more. In addition to this, Disneyland is home to roller coasters, haunted houses, and other rides that attract over 15 million visitors each year. During the day, people can visit the different areas of Disneyland, such as Tomorrowland or the recently opened Star Wars section. At night, parades and spectacular fireworks show becomes the main attraction.
